Often called Heaven on Earth, Kashmir is where the Himalayas show their softest, most poetic side — lush valleys, alpine meadows, glacial rivers, and snow-dusted peaks on every horizon. It is one of the most breathtaking trekking regions in the world. Our trail winds through fragrant pine forests and opens onto wide meadows scattered with summer wildflowers in full bloom. Glacial streams tumble from the peaks, feeding hidden lakes that sit like mirrors beneath the open sky. Along the way you’ll cross paths with grazing horses and sheep, and meet the mountain tribes who move with their flocks across these high pastures each summer.

High in this alpine wilderness, the quiet waters of Durinar Lake rest in a hidden basin — deep blue, still, and surrounded by silence. We move through offbeat, uncommercial trails, camp in remote spots far from the crowds, and share fresh meals prepared by our chef over the fire. Mornings begin with yoga in the meadows, days end with journaling by the water, and cold dips in glacial streams keep you grounded in the moment. No frills, no shortcuts — just raw nature, stillness, and the kind of presence that’s hard to find anywhere else
