CLIMB YOUR MOUNTAIN

Adventure with Purpose

At Climb Your Mountain, every expedition is guided by a deep commitment to Leave No Trace principles and outdoor education. We climb not just for the summit, but to understand and respect the landscapes we traverse—learning about the history, culture, and ecosystems of each mountain along the way.

Our journeys combine adventure with knowledge, offering participants the chance to grow physically, mentally, and intellectually. From mindful trekking practices to immersive lessons on mountain civilizations and local traditions, each climb becomes an opportunity to connect—with nature, with history, and with oneself—while leaving the environment undisturbed for generations to come

Stories from the Summit

My trek to the beautiful valley in Kashmir with Climb Your Own Mountain was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was beautifully organized, with great care taken for every detail, including superb food arrangements with all three meals served even in the mountains. Lulua and her team were exceptional — always motivating, encouraging, and guiding us to keep going and reach the summit despite rain, chilly weather, and slippery paths. As a first-time trekker and joining without my kids in a mothers-and-kids group, I was a little unsure at first, but their support made the journey feel possible and so rewarding. An unforgettable adventure, made special by an incredible team.

An unforgettable experience! The trekking trips that I have done with Lulua are not only physically engaging and beautifully organized, but always filled with purpose and fun. She has a unique way of bringing people together, creating adventures that challenge you, inspire you, and leave you with great memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a hike.

I did my first trekking trip in the Himalayas from Aru in Kashmir with Lulua and her team. I was very nervous at the beginning, but they gave me so much confidence and reassurance, always reminding me that I would be fine and that one of them would always be there with me. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. There were six girls on the trip who didn’t know each other before, but after four days we had become very close. Their team had everything prepared for us each day when we reached our campsite—our tents were ready and food was waiting for us. Every meal they cooked for us in the middle of nowhere was ao fresh and absolutely delicious, and we had a different menu every day. The beauty of the Himalayas is difficult to describe—you truly have to experience it yourself. This is a trekking trip you must do with Lulua and the team. They genuinely take great care of you.

FAQ

Not necessarily. Many of our treks are designed for beginners with a good level of fitness. For higher-altitude expeditions or technical climbs, previous trekking or mountaineering experience may be required. Each trip description clearly outlines the required experience level.

You should have a good level of general fitness and be comfortable walking for several hours a day, often on uneven terrain. Some treks may involve hiking 5–8 hours daily. We recommend preparing with regular hiking, cardio training, and strength exercises before your trip.

Most of our expeditions are all-inclusive once you arrive at the destination. This typically includes accommodation, meals during the trek, permits, logistics, local guides, porters, and transportation related to the expedition. Flights and personal expenses are usually not included unless specified.

International flights, travel insurance, personal gear, visas, tips for guides and porters, and personal expenses such as snacks, drinks, or laundry are generally not included unless clearly stated in the trip details.

Yes. Travel insurance is mandatory for all our trips. Your policy must cover trekking or mountaineering activities, including emergency evacuation and medical coverage at altitude where applicable.

Accommodation varies by expedition. Depending on the destination, we stay in mountain lodges, tea houses, expedition camps, or remote wilderness campsites.

Once you book your trip, we will provide a detailed gear list covering clothing, footwear, and equipment required for the expedition. Some technical gear can be rented depending on the destination.

We keep our groups intentionally small and personal, usually between 6–12 participants. Smaller groups allow for better safety, stronger team dynamics, and a more immersive experience in the mountains.

Yes. Our expeditions are led by experienced and internationally trained mountain guides, many with certifications from recognized outdoor and mountaineering institutions. Safety, leadership, and mountain knowledge are at the core of every trip we run.

Our guides manage the pace to suit the group. We also work with assistant guides and local teams so participants can move at different speeds if needed. The goal is to make the experience enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Some of our treks reach high altitudes where altitude sickness is possible. Our itineraries are carefully designed with proper acclimatization days, and our guides are trained to recognize and manage symptoms. We monitor everyone closely throughout the trip.

Food varies by destination but generally includes fresh, hearty meals prepared locally by our chef. Expect a mix of local cuisine and familiar international dishes designed to provide the energy needed for trekking.

In many mountain regions, phone signal and internet are limited or unavailable. This is part of the experience—disconnecting from technology and reconnecting with nature.

You can book directly through our website or contact us to reserve your spot. A deposit is required to confirm your place, and the remaining balance is typically due a few weeks before the expedition.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the expedition and the logistics involved. Check out our policy for full details.
